From Aspiration to Achievement: Amethi’s Poonam Becomes Self-Reliant Entrepreneur with Govt Support
Lucknow/Amethi News : With determination and timely support, even modest beginnings can lead to remarkable success. Poonam a resident of Gauriganj in Amethi district, has emerged as a self-reliant entrepreneur after benefiting from the Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Yojana launched under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Scheme Support Helps Launch Business
Poonam applied for the scheme in August 2025 after learning about it through a friend. Despite initially having little information, she took the initiative and moved forward with confidence.
In December 2025, she received financial assistance of ₹2.55 lakh under the scheme, along with an additional loan of ₹1.70 lakh from Indian Bank. She arranged the remaining funds on her own, reflecting her strong determination to succeed.
With this support, she started an artificial jewellery shop named “Munna Kailash Jewellers” in Gauriganj. Though the initial phase was challenging, her consistent efforts and dedication gradually paid off.
Business Growth Brings Financial Stability
Over time, her business gained momentum and earned the trust of customers. Today, the shop has become the primary source of income for her family and has established a strong identity in the local market.
Her husband played a crucial role in her journey, offering constant support. Together, they are now working to expand the business, leading to a steady rise in their income. Their partnership reflects not only financial progress but also mutual trust and family strength.
